Porsche Design Studio was opened by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, designer of the Porsche 911 sports car and grandson of the Porsche founder in Stuttgart in 1972. The company was moved to Zell am See, Austria, two years later. Under the “Porsche Design” brand, several classic men’s accessories such as watches, glasses and writing utensils are created and marketed worldwide since 1972.
