It has a unidirectional turning bezel under the crystal which is set by the upper crown. The water resistance works with the compression keys that have a collar on the crown that has a red arrow and a white arrow. The white arrow indicates it is water resistant and the red arrow indicates that it is not water resistant. It has a solid case back.
